A Proctor Mould is a cylindrical metal mould used in the laboratory to determine the optimum moisture content and maximum dry density of soil through compaction tests. It is an essential apparatus for Standard Proctor (IS: 2720 Part 7) and Modified Proctor (IS: 2720 Part 8) compaction tests, widely used in civil and geotechnical engineering.
