Technical Specification
Digital marshall stability apparatus samples and made available and is tested at a speed which is approximately 50.8 mm/min. The highest load (stability) along with the deformation, i.e. flow of the sample is recorded with the help of digital indicator alongwith S type load cell and 25mm LVDT
Features
- Data stores micro processor digital display with PC control
- Normallly, the test is suitable for hot mixing designs with the help of maximum size bitumen and aggregate of highest size i.e. 2.5 mm. The machine is specifically used for the purpose of evaluating and fabricating the bituminous paving mixes
- 2 Nos compaction hammer designed for use with the compaction pedestal and mould. The hammer has a falling weight of 4.535 Kg and free fall of 457 mm
- Breaking head assembly consisting segments with provision for fixing flow specimens of upper and lower cylindrical meter. Suitable to take 4″ dia
- Digital indicator
- 25mm LVDT for measurement of displacement
- S type load cell
- Limitswitch protection for movement (upward and downward)
- Maximum loading capacity of 50 kN
- Equipment supply with computer
- Equipment is calibrated at NABL laboratory
