The V Funnel apparatus is used to evaluate the flow time of freshly mixed selfcompacting concrete. The test is not suitable when the maximum size of the aggregate exceeds 22.4 mm.

Technical Specification
The test set consists of a stainless steel funnel placed vertically on a supporting stand. The discharge orifice is equipped with a lid, which can be momentarily opened.
V Funnel Designed to evaluate the segregation resistance of self-consolidating concrete through the flowing speed from a funnel. Applicable to concrete with aggregates of 1″ (25mm) maximum size. Stainless steel construction with 10L capacity. The upper edge is smooth and reinforced and the outflow orifice is equipped with a sealable valve. Includes polyethylene box to collect discharge and a 36″ (914mm) long straight edge to level concrete prior to testing.
